2012 INSPIRATION SOURCE

My sister is one of the greatest discoverer of all times. She really knows where and how to find beautiful things. For instance, from her Sardinian trip she came up with this cool and inspirational magazine. You probably know it, but I just discovered it now. It is called Hachette Home and after Art et Decoration and Maison et Travaux it is just my favorite when it comes about cozy and homy places.

And now, some inspiration from it. Enjoy.

If you wanna start the year in a positive way, be sure you buy something green. It's a must!

A hole article about a white home. Just my type. White is hard to clean but it surely is the best color you can decorate your interiors with.

 Black and white. And an accent of 5% red.

HAPPY NEW BEGGINING

For some years now, I have a new year rule.Or more like a habit. I use to write down what I intend to do in the year that had just begun. Not once I just misplaced the list and I couldn't remember my new year's resolutions. This year is different. I convinced myself to write everything down and place the list where I can see it all the time.Hope it will work and I will remember.

This year is special. I do believe that it will be better than the year before and I will accomplish many things. My first on the list are:

1. Move in with my boyfriend.

2. Take the driving licence.

3. Take the restauration courses in Venice.

4.Have more architecture and interior designing projects. 

5. Be more confident.

6. Be healthy.

7. Love and be loved.

8. Take my blogs to the new level and make them well known.

Well,the original list has about 30 things that I plan doing this year, but these are the most important of all.Hope I will be able to achieve all of them, or at least most of them.

So, I wish you will have a better year and accomplish at least half of your New Year's resolutions.

P.S.: The wish I made, has been designed through my new gadget-Christmas present: the graphics tablet. The best present ever! You will see more drawings from now on! I promise!;)

 

HAPPY NEW 2012

Happy new year to all of you,out there!!! 12 is my lucky number but I hope it will be yours too,and this year will bring you anything you wanted! I definitely had so much fun at our usual new year party. It has been such a success this year, with all those goood cocktails( thanks a million Ionut, our architect-teacher-bartender) and that all night laughing and dancing and remembering childhood times. A great party for a great year!

CHRISTMAS PAST

 My kind of decorating the kitchen window. Old style.

 The Christmas tree. Classic this year with old style accents, like gingerbread and dried orange and apple slices.

 

 

The wooden Christmas tree has been in my family for a looong,loong time. It is already a tradition to collect each year a few wooden ornaments for it. Unfortunately I think I will have to build a new one for next year, this little one can't handle the toys anymore.:P

 

The gift wrapping this yeah :Wrapping paper(the cheapest one) and old newspapers, ribbons and lace.

 

And the famous gingerbread cookies. Made by me, designed by me.I assure you they are delicious!

Yes, guys, Christmas has passed, but chill,next year we take off again. With preparations, joy and carols. This year I had a little problem getting into the Christmas spirit, although, here, on the blog, I have been preparing it for almost a month. Oh well, these things happen. I tried to surround  myself with decorations, carols and specific stuff,but it didn't work. Some family issues didn't help me celebrate. Oh well, skipping that, let me show you how my Christmas decorations look like. So, 3,2,1 GO!
